You can select a 1-week, 1-month, 3-month, 6-month or 12-month subscription to Exam Consult Medical Finals or Basic Science.
If you have already registered with Exam Consult you will need to log in before purchasing a subscription. If you have not yet registered, you will be prompted to create an account and log in before continuing with your purchase.
How do I activate my retail pack?
Before activating your PIN to access your Exam Consult Medical Finals or Basic Science subscription, you will need to register and log in to Exam Consult. Once you have logged in, you will be prompted to enter your PIN, which can be found inside your retail pack.
How do I reset my password?
If you have forgotten your password, you will need to reset it by clicking here and entering the email address that you provided when you registered. An email will be sent to this address containing a link that you will need to click on to reset your password. The link will be valid for 1 hour from the time the email was sent. If you do not appear to have received an email, please check your junk email folders and spam settings. Otherwise, please contact us.
How do I reset my username?
Your Exam Consult username is the email address that you provided when you registered. If you cannot remember the email address you used when you registered, or would like to update this, please contact us.
How do I update my registration details?
If you need to amend or update your registration details (e.g. your address, medical school, year of qualification or email address), please contact us.
What Student Consult bonus content do I receive with my Exam Consult Medical Finals subscription?
As part of your subscription to Exam Consult Medical Finals you also benefit from access to a carefully chosen selection of bonus online content on Student Consult. This includes the Crash Course OSCEs for Medicine and Surgery textbook, Kumar & Clark's clinical procedure animations and access to clinical examination videos from Macleod's Clinical Examination.
Where is my Student Consult bonus content PIN?
The PIN is included in the email sent to you upon purchasing an Exam Consult Medical Finals subscription online or after activating your Exam Consult Medical Finals retail pack PIN. If you do not appear to have received an email, please check your junk email folders and spam settings. Otherwise, please contact us.
How do I access my Student Consult bonus content?
If you don't already have a Student Consult account, click here to register, or login using your existing account. No further purchase is required.
Once you are logged in to Student Consult, please complete the following steps to add the bonus content to your Student Consult account:
- Click Activate Another Book in the left-hand menu
- Enter your Student Consult bonus content PIN in the box provided
- Select Exam Consult Finals Plus (Elsevier) from the drop-down menu
- Click Activate Book
- Visit your My Library page and click Exam Consult Finals Plus for access

How do I request a refund?
Refund requests will be considered on an individual basis. To request a refund, please contact us. Please note that if you have purchased an Exam Consult Medical Finals retail pack and the pack has been unsealed, you will not be eligible for a refund.
How do I turn off pop-up blockers?
If your browser's pop-up blocker or toolbar is enabled, this may prevent windows from opening or other Exam Consult content from displaying correctly. To override the most common pop-up blockers, please follow these steps:
Internet Explorer
- Go to the Tools menu and select Pop-Up Blocker
- Select Turn off Pop-up Blocker.
You may wish to continue to use the pop-up blocker when viewing other sites. To turn off the pop-up blocker only for Exam Consult:
- Go to the Tools menu and select Pop-Up Blocker
- Select Pop-up Blocker Settings
- Enter the site web address ("http://www.examconsult.co.uk") in the Address of Website to Allow text field
- Click Add
- Click OK.
Firefox
- Go to the Tools menu and select Options
- Select Content
- De-select the Block Pop-up Windows checkbox.
If you wish to continue using the pop-up blocker for other sites:
- Go to the Tools menu and select Options
- Select Content
- Click Exceptions, next to the Block Pop-up Windows checkbox
- Enter the site web address ("http://www.examconsult.co.uk") in the Address of Website to Allow text field
- Click Enable
- Select Close and then OK
Google Toolbar
To let a pop-up through on a one-time basis, press and hold the "Ctrl" key as you click on a link. The Google pop-up blocker can also remember certain sites and allow them to launch pop-up windows. This will allow you to have the pop-up blocker enabled for all other web sites that are not listed as exceptions.
To add Exam Consult to your list of permitted sites, point your web browser to the home page ("http://www.examconsult.co.uk"). Once you are on this page, click on the pop-up blocker button in the Google Toolbar. When you do so, the pop-up blocker button will change to notify you that pop-ups are now allowed from the site that you are currently viewing.
To completely disable the pop-up blocker, click the Options button in the Google Toolbar and de-select the checkbox next to Pop-up Blocker in the Navigation section. If you do not see an Options button on the Google Toolbar, click on the Google logo button and select Options from the resulting drop-down menu.
